Efficient direct heating through radiative heat transfer with wavelengths from 3μm to 1000μm.

Far infrared rays have the characteristic of directly heating objects by utilizing radiative heat transfer. Infrared rays are a type of electromagnetic wave, like radio waves and visible light, and are invisible electromagnetic waves with longer wavelengths than visible light. The range of infrared wavelengths is from 0.8μm to 1,000μm, and the range with wavelengths longer than 3μm is called far infrared. Heating of objects by far infrared means that the absorption of far infrared rays causes the molecules that make up the object to vibrate. 【Case Study】Far Infrared Katsuobushi Softening Machine

Installed in the pre-processing stage of the automatic shaving device! Used by many shaving flake manufacturers.

Here is a case study of the delivery of the "Far Infrared Katsuobushi Softening Machine." Previously, to soften katsuobushi, steaming (cooking treatment) was performed using a batch furnace. However, steaming with water vapor caused the loss of umami components from the katsuobushi, requiring additional heating and drying after shaving, which deteriorated the taste, aroma, color, and shape of the shaved katsuobushi. By using this product, the moisture content is reduced by about 1%, eliminating the need for a drying process after shaving. Thanks to the various effects resulting from far infrared heating, high-quality shaved katsuobushi rich in color, luster, aroma, and elasticity can now be efficiently produced.
